We don't charge extra for high-resolution because it doesn't take us any more time and it doesn't cost us anything extra so we don't think it should cost you extra either. Our 35mm scans typically measure approximately 5,000x7,500 pixels per image, giving you plenty of room for cropping, sharing, and printing. Files are exported at 600 DPI, with exact pixel dimensions varying by film format and scanner output. This service is for traditional black & white negative films, including Ilford HP5, Kodak Tri-X, Kodak T-Max, and Kentmere. These films use a different developing process from C-41 color negative film. Shooting Ilford XP2? Although it produces black & white images, it requires C-41 chemistry.
