About This In plant-hunting circles, one of the treasures yet to say hello in southern horticulture is the elusive red-flowered form of sweet olive. The rarest form of tea olive fo und only in remote areas of china does exist. Recently brought to this country by a fellow nurseryman in south carolina. Flowers are dark orange to red in color and very fragrant. This plant does not seem to bloom when young.
