Tuneful Cables Cork Isolation Pads for Speakers measure 2” x 2” x 7/8” and are designed to be placed under your speakers to reduce st ructural borne noise, i.e. vibration, thereby improving speaker performance. WHY IS VIBRATION BAD when the Beach Boys said it was good? When a speaker sits directly on a hard surface, like a shelf or the floor, the speaker’s internal vibrations are transferred to the surface causing smearing of the music coming out of the speakers.
