This product provides excellent protection from abrasion during forming and in storage. Mr. ShrinkWrap's Anti-Chafe Tape is a high performance and protective form of masking tape. Anti-Chafe Tape is frequently placed between shrink wrap and the object being covered in order to prevent scratching or chafing. Anti-chafe tape is designed to be used under shrink wrap to prevent any type of chafing where the shrink wrap may rub as on the hull of the boat on painted surfaces or on Plexiglas. It has a light tack adhesive so it will not leave adhesive residue and is used only as a buffer.
