About This The Alternanthera Reineckii is a very colorful red aquatic plant and is a stunning addition to your aquarium. Adds good contrast to regular green plants and is relativel y easy to grow making them great for beginners. This plant can stay vibrant red with relative ease but if nutrients and lighting are severely lacking, the leaves can dull out to an orange hue. Easy to moderate difficulty care plant; it has medium to high light requirements, prefers high phosphates, and additional Co2 is required.
