IceAlert Indicators are 6" in diameter and have mounting holes top and bottom center to attach to a sign or delineator post. INSTALLATION: It is recommended to install the sign in a shaded area and away from direct sunlight which can affect the temperature-sensitive indication. 6" indicator has a stainless steel anti-theft plate with pre-drilled holes top and bottom for mounting. SAFETY ALERT: Prevent accidents by alerting motorists of oncoming freezing road conditions which are hard to gauge from a distance. These indicators can be placed on delineator posts and used in a series (based on traffic sign rules) to protect bridge approaches, mountain roads, etc. HASSLE-FREE INDICATOR: Thermostatic bi-metal coil indicator wheel changes from silver to blue signaling freezing temperatures, or the potential for ice.
