About This 1. Precise Soil Moisture Assessment: The TFTEK Soil Moisture Meter precisely informs you whether the soil deep within your pots or garden beds is dry, optimally moist, o r overly wet, surpassing the limitations of visual and tactile checks that only reveal surface moisture levels. The probe extends 5.5 inches (14 cm) further than usual, making it suitable for measuring soil moisture at the base of bigger and deeper flowerpots. 2. Effortless Large Dial Readings: Boasting a generously sized dial with three distinct zones and ten precise scales, the TFTEK meter offers hassle-free readings that are easy to comprehend at a glance. 3. Instant Moisture Feedback: Simply insert the probe into the soil, and the dial promptly displays the current moisture level, allowing you to instantly determine if your plants require hydration. However, avoid leaving the meter in the soil for extended periods (over 5 minutes) to prevent gradual corrosion of the metal tip. 4. Minimized Root Disturbance: The TFTEK's single probe design minimizes damage to delicate plant roots compared to multi-probe alternatives. Additionally, when withdrawing the probe after testing, minimal soil disturbance occurs, preserving the integrity of your plants' environment. 5. Usage Guidelines for Optimal Performance: To ensure long-lasting accuracy and protect your TFTEK Soil Moisture Meter, refrain from testing in extremely hard soil conditions, and avoid exposing the probe to water or other liquids. Remember to wipe the probe clean after each use to prevent residue build-up.
