One of them controls the work mode(Auto/ON/Night) and the other controls the lighting time(30s/120s/180s) before it automatically turns off. ✔ON Mode — This is a ceiling light with motion sensor that can be turned off. By setting the light mode to ON, you stops the motion sensor from detecting anything and turn it into an always-on light (in other words, a regular on-off light if you wired it to a wall switch). ✔Auto Mode and Night Mode — If you want the motion ceiling light to stay off during daytime and turn on at night only when motion’s detected, you can set the light mode to Night.
