About This LOCKS GRANULES AND SEALS YOUR SHINGLE ROOF: The only clear waterproofing roof sealant built exclusively for asphalt and fiberglass shingles. Penetrates the surface, re-glues loose granules, and waterproofing in one application. In testing, uncoated shingles lost over 5% of granules in 1,000 scrub cycles; Shingle Sealer reduced that loss to just 0.2%. BREATHABLE 100% ACRYLIC FORMULA - LOW VOC, MADE IN USA: Shingle Sealer leaves a clear light gloss film with a permeability rating of 24 perms, so your shingles keep breathing after sealing. It allows the water vapor to escape while blocking the larger water molecule. The water-based formula carries VOC content less than 50 gr/ltr, qualifies as a Green Safe low-VOC coating, and is manufactured in the USA. RESTORES FADED SHINGLES TO LIKE-NEW APPEARANCE: Shingle Sealer rejuvenates discolored, tired and weathered shingles, restoring their natural color with a rich clear gloss finish. Real-world results show an 18-year-old treated roof outperforming a 5-year-old untreated addition on the same home. Prevents dirt and debris from sticking, keeping your roof cleaner longer. THE ORIGINAL SHINGLE SEALER - TRUSTED SINCE 1964: Nationwide Coatings has manufactured professional-grade paint and coatings in the USA since 1964. The 100% acrylic formula delivers excellent weather resistance and durability against wind lift, impact, and salt spray. Water-based for easy soap and water cleanup. 7-YEAR PRODUCT: EXTEND ROOF LIFE and DEFER COSTLY REPLACEMENT: Shingle Sealer extends the functional life of aging but serviceable asphalt and fiberglass shingle roofs, helping homeowners avoid the cost of full roof replacement. Available 7-year limited warranty from Nationwide Coatings, a USA manufacturer since 1964. EXTENDS, PRESERVES and REJUVENATES ROOF SHINGLES - SHINGLE SEALER, fortified with a high solids resin blend of advanced ingredients like polymers and acrylics, penetrates your roofing shingles, while simultaneously leaving behind a breathable film that enhances their durability. SHINGLE SEALER is your solution, as it re-glues and secures loose shingle granules, waterproofing and safeguarding your shingle roof from the elements. 100% ACRYLIC CLEAR WATERPROOFING SEALER - Pure high solids acrylic formulation ensures a crystal-clear finish that not only enhances the natural beauty of shingles but also provides a waterproofing barrier for long-lasting weather protection. Its transparent nature allows the original colors of shingles to shine through while offering protection against moisture, UV rays, and environmental factors for years to come. EASY TO APPLY - WILL NOT CLOG YOUR SPRAYER: Apply by backpack, pump-up, or industrial airless sprayer, or brush and roller for smaller areas. Thin water-based formula will not clog your sprayer tip as it penetrates deep into the shingles and leaves a breathable topical film behind to protect the shingle roof and lock down shingle roof granules. Two coats at 250 to 350 sq ft per gallon per coat (average 300 sq ft per gallon). Clean up with soap and water. COVERAGE GUIDE: HOW MUCH DO YOU NEED: Two coats recommended for best results. Average 300 sq ft per gallon (250-350 sq ft depending on surface porosity). 750 sq ft = 5 gal; 1,500 sq ft = 10 gal; 3,000 sq ft = 20 gal. For roofs with some granule loss, use PERMAGLUE before applying. Unfortunately there is no magic sauce for a bad roof but Shingle Sealer works great on most roofs. Not effective on shingles with no remaining serviceable life.
