Then pull the tool out, your insert will be contained in the tool. Aircraft aluminum construction and "hard" anodized finish makes the outer surface of this tool as hard, if not harder, than its heat treated steel competitors. The hardness on the Rockwell "C" hardness scale is between 60-70. Making this tool far more resistant to scratching, abrasion and wear. One-Step Process: There is no need for multiple tools or steps - this single tool presses into the outside diameter of the finger insert to break the bond and releases the insert.
