About This Versatility: The dual check valve is designed for smaller supply lines, ideally for laboratory equipment, processing tanks, sterilizers, dairy equipment and similar applications. It is especially recommended for boiler feed lines to prevent the return pressure from being lower than the system pressure during supply.Compatible with all major brands. Notice: To avoid water damage from valve operation, a drain pipe must be installed, which should terminate about 12 inches above the floor drain. If used on a boiler, do not use an air gap joint on the surface to prevent scalded water or base steam from causing personal injury. Exhaust ports or discharge lines should not be blocked under any circumstances.
