We have been rebuilding these valves for many years and can asure you that the #70 gasket will perform the same as the #50. #70 Part #'s: 7204362 and 7082582, Part # WS08X10006,#50 Part #: 7204363 Some older Gaskets were Red in color, but this Black is the direct replacement and currently used in new models This is the most common replacement part for these machines. When this gasket becomes old it often cracks and small pieces chip away, or extreme suction from the venturi being plugged has malformed the gasket leaving an impression in it. The softener will not operate properly if this seal is not in good condition.
