Michael di Cosola This graphite surreal drawing is by Abstract Surrealist San Francisco artist Michael di Cosola (1929-2010). Di Cosola studied at the Chicago Art Institute before moving to the Bay Area to study at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland. He had a studio in North Beach during the height of the neighborhood's art scene and exhibited at several Bay Area art galleries in the 1960s. Di Cosola is known for psychedelic, Surrealist portraiture and abstractions. Mid 20th Century Graphite on Paper 15"x18" framed, 8.75"x11.75" unframed Estate stamped lower right. Good vintage condition. Framed in a restored vintage metal frame in a silver finish using antique archival matting and spacers behind conservation clear glass. Show more
