Paul McCoy This 1950-60s ink line drawing on paper is by California artist Paul McCoy (1921-2005). An artist and writer, he studied at New York's Pratt Institute and Cornell Univer sity, where he graduated with a MA in Literature. In the late 1950s McCoy moved to Majorca, Spain. Following in the footsteps of the European Modernists Picasso and Cezanne, he studied the Mediterranean palette, painting local people and architecture. McCoy returned to California in the 1960s where he continued to paint coastal life with a European influence. 1950-60sInk on Paper 19"x23.25" framed, 11.75"x16" unframed Estate stamped lower right. Good vintage condition. Framed in a restored vintage Mid Century style wood frame using archival Museum-style matting behind conservation clear glass. Show more
