Jane Mitchell This 1972 amorphic serigraph on paper is by East Coast painter, printmaker, and designer Jane Mitchell (1915-1988). Mitchell studied Art History and Fine Art at Wheat on College and University of Iowa. She lived and worked in Ibiza, Spain during the 1950s-60s and was influenced by Cubism and Surrealism. Mitchell exhibited throughout the U.S. and Spain during her lifetime. 1972Serigraph on Paper 12.5"x16.5" framed, 4.5"x6.5" unframed Signed and dated lower right. Edition 169/175. Excellent vintage condition. Framed in a contemporary wood frame with a black finish using 8-ply archival matting behind conservation clear glass. Show more
