Barbara Lewis This 1940-60s watercolor on paper drawing of a crane is by Chicago-based painter, photographer, and printmaker Barbara Lewis (1925-2008). Lewis studied at the Art Ins titute of Chicago (1943), University of Illinois at Chicago (1967-70), and the IIT Institute of Design (MFA in Printmaking, 1970-72). Through her mixed-media compositions, she explored Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art, often using imagery of Chicago and her travels to Europe and Northern Africa. 1940-60s Watercolor on Paper 8.5"x12" unframed Alternate image on back.Signed lower right.
