Schuyler Standish This 1970s oil on paper abstract is by Los Angeles artist, violin prodigy, and actor Schuyler Standish (1927-2010). As a child actor, Standish had roles in severa l Hollywood films during the early 1940s. During WWII, Standish entertained troops during WWII in Bobby Byrne's band. He was an art teacher in Los Angeles for thirty years and exhibited at the Falk-Raboff Gallery in L.A (1954), LACMA (1959), and the Riverside Art Museum (2010). 1970s Oil on Paper 16"x18" framed, 5.25"x7.25" unframed Signed at the bottom; dated and titled on the back. Excellent vintage condition. Framed in a contemporary wood frame with a distressed amaretto finish on the face and antique gold edges using 8-ply archival matting behind conservation clear glass.
