Please send lists to [email protected] ASAP Maximum of 24 order dice per army. Maximum of 5 platoons per army (as per v3 platoon selector rules). Limited Support - You can bring a maximum of 1 Forward Air Observer and one Forward Air Observer per list. Artillery platoons only have 2 slots for artillery guns of any type. Heavy weapon platoons only have 2 slots per type (not 3). (e.g. max 2 mortars + max 2 hmg/mmg + 2 anti-tank weapons (National rules that expand this capacity, such as Soviet and Japan still apply)) Armoured platoons only have 2 slots for vehicles. Source hierarchy (books vs PDFs vs generic) Armies must be built using the most “official” list available, in this order: Current Third Edition “Armies of…” book (e.g., Armies of Great Britain: Third Edition). Official Warlord Third Edition PDF listImplications: If a Third Edition Armies of… book exists for your nation, you must build from that book (or any clearly linked official v3 update/errata).You may not build a British army from a generic builder or holdover PDF, because Armies of Great Britain exists.If your force’s theatre/nation does not yet have a Third Edition book, you may use: The relevant official Third Edition PDF list if Warlord/Osprey has published one. Rules Changes Enhanced Assaults: Assaulters strike first against defenders that are down and in the open (both conditions need to be met). If a unit would normally get defended obstacles, but are down, the fight is simultaneous. Terrain Edges Matter: Area terrain has an edge for a reason! If you want to shoot out of area terrain without the target getting cover, then your base has to touch the terrain edge AND the enemy may assault you from further away, using their normal run speed, as they can reach you without crossing rough ground. The Objective is mine! A player controls an objective if the end their order on the objective and no contesting units are within 3”. An objective is controlled once taken whether or not the unit stays in position. Spotters, Single Man Observers units, and empty transports cannot capture or contest. Rules Clarifications All rules are as per Bolt Action Third Edition plus the latest official FAQs/errata published by Warlord. Unless listed above in Rules Changes. Note there is a FAQ at the end of the pack for some common issues. TO rulings on the day are final. Army List Submission For List submissions please send them to [email protected] ASAP Bring at least one printed copy of your list for opponents. Illegal or mis-costed lists may be corrected by the TO, with possible penalties to sports or tournament points for significant issues. What to Bring Players must bring: Your fully assembled army. NOTE minor issues like officers model with pistols not SMG or wrong barrels on Tanks will be allowed, inform your opponent every round.
