The Babel Keel has been designed having in mind wider tail surfboards in the Mini-Simmons/Fish family, like our Bar of Soap or Commuter. The idea is to have a long base keel withou t too much tip or flex. This allows for a slightly stiffer and responsive fin with more release through turns and that doesn't lose grip and gives plenty of confidence when holding a line on wide tail surfboards. Originally inspired by the dorsal fins of sharks. 5" high, flat foil, 6 degrees cant. Built in volan and polyester resin. Only available in Futures tabs. Developed in collaboration with Glide Fins.
