CLASS DESCRIPTION FACILITATOR(S) This FREE workshop is designed for parents from pregnancy to 18 months. Carrying your baby will open up a whole new world of parenting. No matter w hen you begin using a carrier to help you carry your baby or how you use the carrier to carry your baby, you can both experience the calming and practical benefits. Whether you are undecided on the carrier you are hoping to purchase or you have been using a carrier for months you will gain new tricks and tips for carrying your babe as well as connections to other parents who carry. In this workshop, we will explore three main groupings of carriers: -Ring Slings-Wraps-Soft-Structure We will discuss the basic mechanics of each carrier, the flexibility of each carrier with regard to the positioning of the child on your body, and benefits for using each type of carrier. Please Note: -Babes are welcome.-Caregivers of the same child are encouraged to attend and receive a discounted registration rate.
