About BACF TRIDENT (BIO FUNGICIDE) BACF Trident is a biological fungicide based on a beneficial antagonistic fungus, Trichoderma viride. The product contains the conidial spore and the mycelial fragments at 2 x 106 CFU’s/gm and /ml of the product. It is a selective bio-agent and effectively control following soil bome nematodes and diseases on crops BACF Trident Technical Details Technical Name: Trichoderma Viride 1.5 % Mode of Entry: Contact Mode of Action: Trident can control the pathogens through different modes of action. Substrate competition: Trident controls pathogens by creating competition for substrate and nutrients. Mycoparasitism: It grows fast and coils around the pathogen, then penetrates through it and takes the nutrients from the pathogen. The pathogen eventually dies and is finally eliminated from the field. Antibiosis: It offers a long-lasting control against the pathogen by secreting secondary metabolites which exhibit an antibiosis effect on the pathogen. Method of Application: Soil and Foliar Additional Information Enrichment of Farm Yard Manure (FYM) with Trichoderma viride 1.57o WP: Add one kg of Trichoderma viride 1.5% WP to I ton of farm yard manure or compost to enrich it. Farm yard manure added with this bio-pesticide should be left under shade for a period of 15 days, maintaining optimum moisture and in between it should be mixed thoroughly at an interval of 5 days for proper enrichment of FYM with this bio agent.
