GE C36-7 - CSX® #7138HO SCALE Built between 1978 and 1989, the C36-7 was the final locomotive to be offered in General Electric’s successful “Dash 7” series. Capable of producing up to 3,750 horsepower, the majority of production C36-7s were purchased by China Railways and other overseas operations, while a number of examples were ordered for use by US, Canadian, and Mexican railroads. Mainline operation in the United States lasted through the mid-2000s, and examples can still be found today running on several short lines. Bachmann is excited to announce the first-ever consumer model of the North American C36-7 in HO scale.
