This artwork was inspired by the rich farming land around the Toowoomba range. Sometimes when in the car (often when I am by myself) I take detours to explore the back roads of this amazing country. Although ‘Back Roads Two’ and ‘Back Roads One’ were painted as a pair (diptych), they hold their own unique presence and emotion, enabling them to be purchased and hung as stand-alone pieces of art.
