Fox as the teenager Marty McFly who travels back to 1955 with Christopher Lloyd as the eccentric scientist Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown, inventor of the time-travelling DeLorean car that brings him back to 1985. Iconic design by the American movie poster artist and illustrator Drew Struzan (b. 1947) featuring Marty looking at his watch with one foot inside the DeLorean DMC-12 time machine over flaming fire tyre tracks, the stylised title text above with the text on the side reading: "He was never in time for his classes...
