For Breville STYLE machines and other semi-autos with a built-in cleaning cycle If your machine can backflush, it should be backflushing. Your machine's cleaning cycle takes five m inutes and one tablet. There's no reason not to run it weekly (or at least fortnightly). It clears the coffee oils that build up inside your machine between descales. Why it matters: Coffee oils build up inside your machine's coffee path.
