A blacksmith and metalworker’s tool designed to cleanly knock out bolts, rivets and pins, the Backing Out Punch is distinguished by a perfectly round punch end with a cylindrical, non-tapered shaft. Punches and pins meant for aligning parts, in contrast, are tapered.
