The Backpacker Bike Rack D-Hoop is designed to integrate directly with The Backpacker modular rear door carrier, creating a practical and secure bike transport system for adventure vans, camper builds and everyday travel. The adjustable mounting positions allow the system to be configured depending on your van height and preferred bike loading position. For high roof vans, the mounts can be installed above one of the Backpacker storage boxes. For low roof vans or easier loading, the mounts can be positioned lower on the carrier. The system works particularly well with Thule ProRide or Thule FastRide bike racks, providing a strong and stable mounting platform. This setup comfortably carries two bikes, while still allowing the rear doors to be opened with bikes loaded. Please note this system is not suitable for E-bikes. Installation The Bike Rack D-Hoop mounts directly to The Backpacker rear door carrier, using the modular mounting positions built into the system.
