It is effective against aerobes like staphylococcus, bacilli and cocci that are known to infest most farm animals like swines and gamefowls. Formulation Enrofloxacin Indication For the treatment of bacterial and mycoplasmal pneumonia in swine, gamefowls, and ruminants; colibacillosis and enteritis; skin and soft tissue infections. Contraindication Not to be given to animals producing milk for human consumption and in young animals during rapid period of growth. Dosage and Administration 1. Swine – Inject 1mL per 20 kg body weight for 3 days by deep IM2. Poultry and Gamefowls – Inject 0.2 mL per head for 3 days by deep IM3.
