If you have a new whisk (one that has not yet been used in the sauna), it needs to be soaked in hot water for a long time. The next time, quick processing is sufficient, but the water must be hot again. Note – if you put eucalyptus together with oak and birch, it is very likely that the latter will be saturated with eucalyptus. Step by step: Take a small tub and place the desired amount of whisks in the water with their handles down. Pour plenty of water over them and leave for at least 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, pour plenty of water over them again and leave for the same amount of time. If you don't have that much time, just pour plenty of water over the wands from all sides.
