Bagger 288 (4588 pcs)
⚙️ Build the Bagger 288 - The Gigantic German Machine! This buildable model is inspired by one of the largest and most impressive machines ever built by humankind: the German excav ator Bagger 288. The Bagger 288 is one of the biggest and most astonishing machines ever created by humanity, built by the German manufacturer Krupp for open-pit coal mining. Now, the Bagger 288 is available in a buildable miniature version! 🌍 The Largest Excavator in the World! With almost 100 meters in height, 240 meters in length and around 13,500 tons, it functions as a true mobile factory capable of excavating up to 240,000 tons of material per day. Its front wheel with multiple buckets continuously removes earth, sending the material through internal conveyors that run throughout the entire machine, while its 12 crawler modules allow it to move slowly without sinking into the ground despite its colossal weight. Powered by immense electrical systems and equipped with command cabins, independent motors and a reinforced structure, the Bagger 288 operates like a giant mechanical organism, synchronizing each movement with precision. 🔩 A buildable Miniature with Functional Mechanics! The Bagger 288 excavator with 4588 pieces to assemble is a gigantic model with more than 1 meter in length.Inspired by the largest mining machines in the world, it offers a complex, detailed and fully motorized building experience! This buildable miniature features moving crawler tracks, a rotating superstructure, an articulated arm and a massive bucket wheel powered by high-torque XL and L motors, all powered by a smart battery that can be controlled either by a 2.4 GHz remote control or by a mobile app. When completed, it impresses with its dimensions: an incredible 119 cm in length × 77 cm in height, becoming an imposing display piece that combines engineering, fun and decorative presence, ideal for heavy-machinery enthusiasts, collectors and fans of advanced technical models. 🧩 Do Therapy with Blocks! Assembling the Bagger 288 excavator miniature piece by piece is a deeply therapeutic experience: the famous lego therapy. Each step requires focus, calm and presence, making you forget the stress of the day while organizing pieces, following instructions and watching the structure grow before your eyes. It is even more special when built with family or friends: one helps sort pieces, another assembles a module, another tests the motors… and before you know it, everyone is involved in a light, laughter-filled moment of collaboration. This shared construction creates memories, brings people closer and turns the assembly into an affectionate, creative and relaxing activity. 🎨 The Perfect Decoration! When finally completed, the excavator becomes a true spectacle on the shelf. With nearly 1.20 m in length and impressive mechanical details, it draws attention instantly. It’s the kind of piece that makes any visitor say “Wow!”. The giant bucket wheel, the tracks, the elevated superstructure and all its visual presence make it not just a built model, but a miniature work of engineering. It’s the kind of item that decorates, impresses and tells a story: the story of the patient, fun and memorable construction you lived while assembling it. ⚙️ Complete Motorized and Articulated System This Bagger 288 miniature with 4588 pieces to assemble impresses with both the quantity and the power of the included electric motors. It uses six motors in total, being five high-torque L motors and one even more robust XL motor, strategically distributed to power the main functions: track movement, full rotation of the superstructure, lifting of the articulated arm and continuous rotation of the massive bucket wheel. This configuration ensures enough strength to move the entire structure, allowing simultaneous operations with smoothness and precision, faithfully reproducing the operation of a real mining excavator. Power for all these motors comes from a high-capacity smart battery, based on a 7.4 V module with around 550 mAh. This battery powers all motors at once and connects to the remote control system, ensuring stable performance while the model performs complex movements. Charging is done via USB cable, offering convenience, and the autonomy is usually sufficient for long demonstrations and play sessions, considering that the model alternates functions and does not work under maximum load at all times. The miniature can be controlled in two ways: through the physical 2.4 GHz remote control, which offers excellent range and avoids interference, or through the smartphone app, which connects through the same protocol or via Bluetooth, depending on the version. The app allows you to control each motor individually, adjust speeds, reverse directions and even access additional control modes, such as sliders or tilt-based steering using the phone. This dual operation option makes the model even more versatile, allowing both the classic experience of remote control and the modern convenience of operating everything through the smartphone with precision and practicality.
