Bailey Pro-X Pottery Wheel Some assembly required The Bailey PRO X Potter's Wheel is for potters who prefer a one piece splash pan. Bailey has innovated the unique Counter Pan. The Bailey Counter Pan covers the entire table top of the pottery wheel and can contain more clay slop and trims than any other pan available. It features a drain with drain tube for cleaning out water and slurry and a side discharge panel for quick removal of clay trims. No more spilling clay trims and water while carrying the splash pan to the sink. In addition, the Counter Pan is large enough for a 9" diameter water bucket to be placed inside while a 14" throwing bat is used. Keeping the water bucket inside the pan also keeps the wheel area clean. The "back and forth" travel to the water bucket is confined to the pan. All these features combine to keep the pottery wheel and ceramic studio or classroom clean- pottery teachers love it! In addition, the sturdy counter pan is very rigid and comfortable to brace against when throwing clay. This is something you can't do with a removable splash pan.
