Our range of Plastic Muzzles are the best single strap, light to medium duty Muzzle in the world. They have a rubber strap that wraps around the dog’s head, with a felt liner on the dogs nose. If you have a reactive or aggressive dog, using a muzzle is a responsible part of owning and training this dog, do not be worried to be an advocate for your dog by using a muzzle so they can explore the world with you safely. These are a great Muzzle for aggressive dogs, dogs that need to be kept away from wounds etc. The dog can open its mouth to pant, drink or even bark, it just cannot bite. These muzzles can be worn for extended periods of time without inhibiting the dogs breathing, drinking, panting or stress responses. Our range of bait proof puzzles are bait proof and also meet council dangerous/ menacing dog requirements. Occlusive muzzles that stop the dog opening their mouths & often induce a high degree of stress in a dog and aggressive responses can elevate, our basket style muzzles won’t do this. Size Guide & How to Measure: Measuring your dog for a muzzle Step 1: Measure the length of the snout. Measure the dog's snout length. This should be from 1-2cm below the eyes to the tip of the nose This should be taken along the top of the dog's nose as shown below. Step 2: Measure the circumference of the snout. Measure the circumference of the snout as the widest point. This should be done again 1-2cm below the eyes, wrapped all the way around the snout with the mouth closed. Step 3: Allow for pant room. You must allow for an extra 2-3cm on each side of the muzzle (4-6 cm total). This is so your dog can open their mouth to pant breathe and bark as needed.
