[about vendor] The story of Akro is the story of a family; of a dynasty involved with the perfume industry from the earliest days, ingredient trading in Grasse, to the cutting-edge art form of today. It all started a few years back, when Anaïs Cresp was living in London to improve her English and to discover more of the world. Working in the pubs and bars of the vibrant and diverse area of Ladbroke Grove and partying in Shoreditch. She came up with a unique concept for a fragrance range - Everyday Addictions. Naturally, she turned to her father; Olivier Cresp, a master perfumer behind some of the most well-known fragrances on the planet. His many creations include Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, Mugler’s Angel, Givenchy Gentleman, Penhaligon’s Juniper Sling and Parfums de Marly Sedley. Together, father and daughter began to share ideas, stories and eventually scents. Soon enough, Akro was born. Named after the French word for Addiction.
