A popular early Welsh eating apple. Pale golden fruit with light russeting and orange/red flesh. Juicy cream flesh with delicious complex flavour and wonderful aroma. Rich and juic y, high in sugar and acidity. Ready in early September, will only keep for a few weeks. Its origins are lost in time, but it was rediscovered by Baker’s Nursery, Wolverhampton in 1932.
