This online practical two-hour beginner's course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of balance and coordination essential for Nordic walking. Through a blend of theoretic al insights and practical exercises, participants will learn: - to assess and enhance balance and coordination - how to progressively make exercises harder - tips on how to engage the body's stabilising muscles or 'core' - exercises to enhance balance - new exercises to challenge coordination Ideal for both new and experienced instructors, this course provides a series of exercises that can be incorporated into walks throughout the year to add novelty to sessions.
