The insert houses 5 removable tungsten weights which enable the Vulp trainer to have a more neutral (less handle biased) balance profile. Features 5 removable Tungsten weights reduce the stock handle bias and let you adjust the balance on the Nabalis Vulp Trainer to fit your preference. 3 weights along spine make stickier chaplins and less wobbly fans. 2 weights along "cutting edge" add extra tip weight for a more neutral balance and ensure a good balance when using Slim Caps. The weights can be popped out with a pointy rigid object. The weights can be popped in with your thumb. Fits perfectly with an "edge lip" so it won't fall out on hard drops. Made of shatter-proof rubbery polyurethane. The Zippy Insert Mod adds 0.166 oz with all 5 weights, bringing the Vulp weight from 3.87 oz to 4.036 oz. Add Zippy Slim Caps for only $5 (30% Discount) to protect the handles of the Vulp. The slim caps add an additional 0.085 oz and bring the total weight up to 4.121 oz. Recommended Balance Configurations: With handle caps: 3-5 weights overall. User's preference. Without handle caps: 3 weights on the spine and 0 weights in the edge insert. Why? The core of the mod is the 3-ball spine insert. The Bowie shape of the blade creates a lot of forward weight because the spine weight is close to the tang. The 3 weights in the spine insert evens out the weight distribution of the blade to make the balance more neutral. It also makes chaplins more controlled and fans less wobbly. The 2 "cutting edge" weights are optional. They are for people who either want to experiment with more tip weight or to balance out the weight when using Zippy Slim Caps or Zippy Weight Caps.
