Dimensions: 11 x 14 Inches Photograph on rag paper Framed in Black Frame Captured on the coast of Auckland, New Zealand, watching gannets take their first flight off the edge of tr eacherous cliffs. My purpose in taking this was simply to capture the beauty of freedom these birds possessed as they took their maiden aeronautical voyage. What I ended up with was something much more; an image in which two birds balance each other against the ambiguous depth of crashing waves and a cliff. The process and the resulting message are much like life; we start with one intention, but God shows us a path more mysterious and greater than we could have ever dreamed. Show more
