The isolated islets are cultured in Cell Biologics’ Pancreatic Islet Culture Medium containing 5% FBS. Product Testing BALB/c Mouse Pancreatic Islets are tested for their viability using FDA/PI, purity using Dithizone staining, static insulin secretion in response to 14 mM glucose. Upon request, dynamic insulin secretion and calcium imaging in response to glucose and other stimulators can be performed.
