The Bale King 5400 is a round-bale processor for feeding, bedding, and windrowing. It carries two bales in its standard form, with an available bolt-on extension that adds room for a third bale. That extra carrying position can reduce the number of trips back to the stack without changing how the bale is processed. Two hydraulic rollers keep the bale turning against the 27-inch X-Rotor, which uses 28 flails. Material leaves from the right side, and the hydraulic deflector lets the operator shape a windrow, place feed in a bunk, or spread bedding. The open area around the rotor also gives the operator room to cut and remove twine.
