These are high quality carpet rods, which come in a choice of ten, attractive metal finishes. The ball design of finial is a popular classic that complements most décor schemes and has timeless appeal. There is a choice of two diameters of cylindrical rod: 12mm and 16mm. The former is ideal for most homes, being scaled to suit standard staircases, whilst the 16mm, chunky diameter is typically used in hotels or locations with grand staircases. Select from three styles of rod, plain, reeded or spiral, in the 12mm rod option or plain and reeded in the 16mm option to create a pleasing, individual look. The Balladeer stairrods are custom-made in just days to fit your staircase. Regardless of the specification you choose, they are all supplied with a pair of matching-finished stair rod brackets and screws, suitable for installation with carpets or natural flooring fitted with underlay. The standard 12mm (1/2”) brackets supplied have a 14mm clearance to allow for the underlay and carpet, whilst the 16mm (5/8”) brackets have a 16mm clearance. And don't forget - the Balladeer works on both fitted and runner stair carpets - just choose the correct bracket at the time of ordering.
