The luxury Swiss shoemaker worked with the celebrated poster artist Villemot on a very limited number of designs for the brand from the 1960s to 80s. Known for his minimalist Art Deco aesthetic, his works for the likes of Bally, Orangina, Perrier and Air France are among the most influential and sought after pieces of advertising history. This design known as "Shoes" features the entangled legs & feet of a heeled figure raising a foot, and a flat shoed & trousered figure behind. The fun and suggestive illustration using a vibrant and varied colour palette against the wide black background is typical of Villemot in this era.
