King of Salt and Rock Balon Greyjoy, father of Theon and Asha, declared himself King of the Iron Islands during the War of the Five Kings. As an Iron Islander, Balon followed the O ld Ways of taking property by force, so this coin was probably minted on top old coinage raided from the mainland. This heavy copper coin features a youthful Balon sporting a breastplate with the Kraken sigil of House Greyjoy. On the reverse is a reaver of the Iron Fleet that Balon constructed.
