Bias cut, naturally dyed tap pants that provide a stunning fit and flow in vegan bamboo silk fabric. The waist has a functional bow for a versatile fit and the back has a cheeky V to add a modern twist. These are an adapted design taken from an original pair of 1930's knickers; they have true vintage roots with a classic and minimal modern finish. Made in collaboration with Cocoon Natural Dye. The indigo is a fragment dye; the cacao husk and avocado are solid colours. There will be some variation in colour as each pair is individually hand dyed making it truly individual. Please get in touch about fragment dyes in the Avocado or Cacao Husk/solid colour in Indigo. I can also provide a version of these without the bow for a more everyday piece. The fabric is Oeko-Tex 100 certified as being free form harmful chemicals (The chemicals used to convert bamboo to 'silk' are used to make both paper and soap). This item is sewn with Scanfil organic cotton thread on my reconditioned 1960s sewing machine.
