My idea was to create a harmonious and connected collection of vessels that in a pair, or as a larger grouping, and as multiple shapes and sizes, work together. I was naturally drawn to the inherent simplicity in the structural aesthetics of bamboo and took time to source and select specific sections I wanted to replicate and group. I am drawn to the perfect imperfection of the natural world, and the detail that can be achieved when using low relief, which allows me to capture the minimalist beauty in pure white porcelain.
