Dual-nozzle 3D printing and 40W laser fabrication in one machineThe Bambu Lab H2D Laser Full Combo (40W) is a personal manufacturing system that combines dual-nozzle 3D printing with laser engraving and cutting, digital cutting, and pen drawing. It is designed for users who want to move from single-purpose desktop tools to a broader fabrication workflow in one platform. Dual-nozzle printing for multi-material, support, and multi-colour workPrint flexible and rigid materials togetherThe H2D supports multi-material printing with a dual-nozzle setup, allowing flexible and rigid materials, as well as standard and higher-performance materials, to be combined in a single job. This enables interlocking structures, more advanced part designs, and more efficient use of premium materials only where they are needed.Use dedicated support material with less wasteDedicated support material can be assigned to one nozzle, which helps reduce purging and reloading compared with more limited workflows. The result is more secure printing and cleaner support interfaces.Reduce purge cycles in multi-colour printingMulti-colour jobs benefit from the dual-nozzle architecture because fewer purge cycles are required. The H2D also uses smart algorithms to optimize filament use and improve material efficiency during colour changes.All-in-one fabrication tools for personal manufacturing40W 455nm laser engraving and cuttingThe Laser Full Combo includes a 40W 455nm laser for engraving and cutting, extending the H2D beyond filament printing into workshop-style fabrication tasks.Digital cutting on a range of materialsThe H2D also supports precise digital cutting on a variety of materials, giving users another tool for templates, craft production, prototyping, and mixed-media projects.Pen drawing and writingPen drawing expands the machine's capability for marking, illustration, layout work, and writing-based applications.Camera-guided placement and material-saving layout toolsLive spatial alignment with top-view accuracy up to 0.3mmThe BirdsEye camera works with computer vision algorithms to deliver top-view alignment accuracy up to 0.3mm. This live spatial alignment helps place the tool path in the intended position on the material with a what-you-see-is-what-you-get workflow.* Auto arrangement for leftover stock and irregular material shapesBambu Suite uses real-time images from the BirdsEye camera to automatically arrange projects according to the available material shape. That makes it practical to reuse leftover plywood and other partial stock while minimizing waste. Built-in safety and cleaner laser operationLaser safety windows for monitored useThe integrated safety windows allow laser projects to be operated and monitored without goggles according to the included description. This supports safer day-to-day observation during engraving and cutting tasks.Optional air purifier for indoor laser workAn optional air purifier is available to help maintain cleaner air during indoor laser operations.*Automatic setup tools that reduce manual adjustmentFull-auto calibrationA single tap starts automated laser focus verification and material measurement. This reduces manual setup steps and helps maintain repeatable operation.Material CodeSync for preset loadingThe H2D can scan the QR code on compatible material and automatically load the matching preset through Material CodeSync.*Laser features for cleaner results and curved surfacesAir Assist for improved cut and engraving qualityAir Assist directs high-speed air to cool the laser path, helping improve surface quality and produce cleaner, more precise results.Contact-less 3D Mesh for non-flat workpiecesAdvanced optical height measurement creates a detailed 3D mesh without physical contact. This allows more precise laser work on curved surfaces where conventional flat assumptions are not enough.*Large-format capacity, speed, and motion precisionVision Encoder for 50μm motion accuracyAn ultra-accurate vision encoder plate, combined with 5µm resolution optical measurements to track and correct toolhead motion, enables the H2D to achieve consistent and reliable distance-independent 50μm motion accuracy across the entire workspace. The source description states that this is one order of magnitude better than its predecessor, and that the Vision Encoder is sold separately. Large work zone for oversized parts and objectsThe H2D offers a print volume of up to 350mm × 320mm × 325mm.* This expanded workspace supports larger printed models, laser work on bigger objects, and projects that would otherwise need to be split into multiple sections.High-temperature material capability350°C hotend and 65°C active chamber heatingThe H2D is equipped with a 350°C hotend and 65°C active chamber heating, along with precise closed-loop temperature control. This system is intended to reduce warping and deformation in high-performance materials while improving layer bonding. High-speed extrusion and print reliability featuresHigh-flow hotend designed for 600mm/s printingThe REAL High-Flow Hotend is built to support reliable printing at 600mm/s. According to the source description, it is designed to avoid mid-print flow rate restrictions and maintain high-speed output regardless of print size or complexity.*DynaSense Extruder with 20kHz samplingBambu Lab's proprietary PMSM servo architecture creates an intelligent extrusion governance system. The DynaSense Extruder performs 20kHz torque/resistance and position sampling to dynamically modulate electromagnetic torque vectors, stabilize extrusion, and detect filament grinding and clogging. Nozzle camera with AI-backed monitoringThe H2D includes an AI-backed nozzle camera with a macro lens that continuously monitors extrusion at the nozzle tip. The system is designed to detect material accumulation, filament deviation, and extrusion failure as they occur.AI pre-flight checklist before each operationBefore each operational cycle, the H2D vision system performs a pre-flight checklist. The process includes a chamber integrity scan for debris across the print surface, a hardware configuration audit to identify nozzle dimensions and build plate properties, and digital-physical alignment to verify that detected hardware matches active slicer parameters.Advanced filament path monitoring with 15 sensorsThe H2D uses 15 sensors along a single filament path from the AMS to the nozzle. These sensors continuously monitor feeding velocity, tension, filament tip location, extruder thermal environment, and dynamic extrusion pressure to create a comprehensive filament behaviour control system.Where the H2D fits best Multi-material prototyping: Combine flexible and rigid materials in one print for functional prototypes and mechanical assemblies. Cleaner support workflows: Reserve one nozzle for support material when printing complex geometries. Multi-colour production: Reduce purge overhead in colour jobs while improving material efficiency. Laser engraving and cutting: Use the 40W 455nm laser for fabrication tasks that go beyond additive manufacturing. Material-saving project layout: Arrange jobs on leftover sheets and irregular stock with camera-guided placement. Large-format printing: Produce larger parts within the 350mm × 320mm × 325mm build volume. High-performance polymer work: Use the 350°C hotend and heated chamber for more demanding engineering materials. Curved-surface laser applications: Apply contact-less 3D mesh measurement where flat-bed assumptions are limiting.* Unboxing video
