Producing food-contact-safe printed parts depends on equipment hygiene (particularly the nozzle), printing environment, and other factors. Due to layer lines, printed parts are not suitable for holding liquid foods. Because of PLA’s properties, do not expose printed parts to temperatures above 60°C.
