One important example is our Babassu Oil, which we sourced as an alternative to dreadful Palm Oil. It is harvested on the perimeter of the rainforest in Brazil by local communities, rather than industrialized. The seeds are gathered by a collective of Indigenous women who use the funds to directly support their families and community. Exfoliating Peppermint: Story: The morning alarm clock we need. This big chunk of a Bar Soap has become my favorite way to wake up. As soon as the Soap hits the hot water, I get hit with a sharp, cool energizing tingle that fills the entire bathroom and travels down the hallways Fragrance: Sharp, cool peppermint. Details: It’s got a fistful of Organic Peppermint that energizes, French Blue Clay that draws out impurities, and Big Sur Sea Salt which exfoliates and mineralizes. This process removes dead cells, allowing skin to become more receptive to all actives and moisture. Rosemary deepens the chorus with its resinous warmth, and Ginger threads through it all with a golden streak. Fragrance: Green Goddess is a fecund celebration of all that bursts with green. It mingles freshly-picked Basil, sharp Mint, bright Pea Tendrils, and warm Golden Ginger - conjuring those fleeting moments at golden hour when everything is lush and the garden feels alive. When the deluge finally arrives at the Estate, the earth heaves a sigh of relief: the birds sing, the winds blow, and the mighty Eucalyptus begin to turn their leaves. This phenomenon occurs before rain because of the increased humidity in the air, which softens the leaves and causes them to turn. Fragrance: petrichor Soap Bricks are individually made with Kelp, Eucalyptus, Myrrh, and Vetiver, mixed slowly into a base of nourishing Olive Oil and Babassu Oil. Ingredients: x Rosemary Green Leaf Parsley: Story: This Soap Brick is a tribute to the green, living heart of Flamingo Estate - Roman Parsley and fresh-cut Rosemary, picked at their most fragrant and alive. It’s the smell of the herb beds in late spring, when the sun warms the soil and your hands come back inside smelling like lunch and medicine all at once. Details: We mix both into a base of French Green Clay, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and Brazilian Babassu — a rich, nutritious oil harvested by hand on the edges of the rainforest. The Babassu seeds are gathered by a collective of Indigenous women in Brazil, whose work supports their families and protects their land. Fragrance: Wild Rosemary cleanses and opens respiratory passages. Vitamin C-rich parsley makes you glow. French Green Clay detoxifies and gives you that ‘je ne sais quoi’. And together? Pleasure.
