Apple Cider – We hand press our own apple cider for these bars. Apples contain an abundance of collagen, which can help improve skin tone. The scent of these bars is reminiscent of a crisp fall day, with their fruity, spicy aroma. The natural scent and colour of the apple cider is retained in these bars, and is augmented by the addition of cinnamon, clove and orange essential oils. We handmake our soaps in small batches using our own carefully formulated recipes. Each oil has it's own fatty acid profile, which affects the properties of a soap bar. For this reason, we choose to use a mixture of olive, coconut and castor oils in our recipes. Olive oil ensures our bars are gentle and nourishing to the skin. Coconut oil is used to make the bars hard and long-lasting, and castor oil provides a lovely thick lather. Our soap bars are made using the cold process method, which allows the pH to drop as the bars age, which makes them gentle on the skin. We cure our soap bars for at least 4-6 weeks as well, which allows them to harden for high performance.
