Winter Forest - This is our winter seasonal bar, which is available in November of every year. This bar is scented with essential oils of Siberian fir and Scotch pine. We use organ ic home-grown nettle in this bar for its skin soothing properties and to provide a green conifer colour. The scent of this bar is very reminiscent of a fresh cut Christmas tree. We handmake our soaps in small batches using our own carefully formulated recipes. Each oil has it's own fatty acid profile, which affects the properties of a soap bar. For this reason, we choose to use a mixture of olive, coconut and castor oils in our recipes. Olive oil ensures our bars are gentle and nourishing to the skin. Coconut oil is used to make the bars hard and long-lasting, and castor oil provides a lovely thick lather. Our soap bars are made using the cold process method, which allows the pH to drop as the bars age, which makes them gentle on the skin. We cure our soap bars for at least 4-6 weeks as well, which allows them to harden for high performance.
