Unlike every grinder of its size, the Sette’s revolutionary 40mm steel conical burrs cut grinding time in half, producing 3.5g to 5.5g per second. Developed over 8 years, the burrs will remain sharp and aligned for many years, as well as retain less ground coffee than competing grinders. Also appearing for the first time from Baratza is a gear speed reduction of 19:1 with the grinder’s new super-efficient gear drive system. The Sette 270’s 30 grind settings can produce coffee grounds for espresso, as well as Chemex.
